After your bachelors law degree you can either answer various entrance exams such as All Bar Examination (AIBE), Judicial Services Examination, Public Services Commission Examination, Competitive Examinations, or you can do post graduation in LLM and other diploma courses, or you can directly work as a Legal Correspondent at newspapers and TV or work with NGO or work for LPO (Legal Process Outsourcing).

If after your law degree whether it's a 5 years integrated law course or 3 years LLB degree, you can answer the All India Bar Examination and become an advocate in the court of law or in a corporate firm. If you choose to become an advocate in the court of law, you can work as a criminal lawyer or a civil lawyer or income tax lawyer or cyber lawyer. And if you choose to be an advocate in a corporate firm then you can be either be a legal advisor and a document drafting lawyer.

If you choose to answer Judicial Services Examination after your law degree then you can become a magistrate or a district judge in the court.

If you choose to answer Public Services Commission Examination after your law degree, then you can become a junior law officer or assistant public prosecutor.

If you choose to answer Competitive Examinations after your law degree, then you can become a law officer at bank or at multinational companies.

If you choose to do LLM post graduation after your bachelors in law then you need to answer UGC NET / SET and opt for a teaching profession.

If you choose to do Post Graduate Diploma Courses after your law degree, then you can do diploma courses in various fields such as, if you do a diploma course on labour laws then you can become a labour officer or government officer. If you choose to do diploma course on taxation laws and practices then you can become income tax consultant or lawyer. If you choose to do a diploma course on intellectual property right then you can become a legal advisor at multinational companies. If you choose to do diploma course on cyber law then you can become a cyber lawyer and expert. If you choose to do diploma course in criminology and penology then you can become crime intelligency analyst or drug policy advisor. If you choose to do diploma course on environmental law then you can become environmental protector analyst or general manager or product manager or environmental consultant or environmental policy analyst.

In case you do not want to answer any entrance or competitive law examination after your law degree or if you do not want to further take any diploma course after your law degree, then you can directly become a Legal Correspondent at newspapers and TV, or work with NGO, or work for LPO (Legal Process Outsourcing) soon after your law degree.
